Troubleshooting Guide
Common problems of LiFePO4(lithium-ion) batteries are:
- Battery not holding charge
- Inability to Fully Charge
- The battery cannot maintain its charge
Battery Diagnosis
To start troubleshooting, first verify that the charger is working correctly. Test it with a compatible device or use a different charger to see if the problem is with the charger itself. Also, check the power source to ensure it is consistently providing electricity.
Step 1: Use a multimeter to measure your battery's open circuit voltage. If it’s below 10V for a 12V battery or 20V for a 24V battery, the battery is in under-voltage protection mode. Disconnect all wires, then use a lithium battery charger to charge it at a temperature above 41°F until the voltage rises to the low voltage recovery level.
Step 2: Verify that your charging parameters match the battery specifications and check that the charger is functioning correctly.
Enjoybot offers 10-year warranty on our LiFePO4 batteries. If the battery fault cannot be confirmed according to the above steps, please contact us for further handling, and provide the above inspection results and relevant videos to Enjoybot for further confirmation.
